It started with anime. Specifically anime music videos (AMVs). I remember being on YouTube and seeing my favorite anime fights with music behind them. I was always enthralled, "How could you make that scene even COOLER?!" Although they were commonly only accompanied by rock, metal, or alternative music, being able to compound the emotions of the music with the emotions already displayed in the scenes completely opened my eyes.
I began to create my works, merging my favorite music genres like hip-hop and rap with the scenes instead. I wanted to build upon the scenes and add more life to my visions instead of just clipping an episode together. I needed to add as much depth to the original work as possible.
